      I am currently an Interactive Designer at Blue Diesel, a Top 75 Healthcare Digital Agency, in Westerville, OH. I have worked at Blue Diesel as an intern, temp, and now full-time employee for the better part of a year and I have gained excellent experience by doing design work for several top-tier brands.

      Starting during Winter quarter 2009, I began working for the Ohio University Athletics Department on web and print projects. My relationship blossomed with them and my duties expanded the following school year when I became a full-time lead graphic designer for them during my senior year.

Welcome to CoreyMichalek.com! I am an energetic Interactive Designer fresh out of school from Ohio University and I have a love for just about anything that goes fast.

Reflecting on the 22 years that I have been alive, I recognize how fortunate I have been every step of the way. I have a great appreciation for everything that I have been able to do and I am extremely grateful for everyone that has been there with me every step along the way. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today.

Through these years of good times, I have learned along the way what it takes to be successful and I strive each and every day to take a step in the right direction towards becoming the best that I can be at everything that I do. Whether it be my profession, athletics, or just trying to be a better friend, I pride myself on always putting forth my best effort.

With four years of school under my belt, two internships completed, and multiple freelance projects in the books, I have built up a solid set of tools to help others accomplish their marketing goals. Whether it be web or print design, motion graphics, or audio/video production, I have put together a solid portfolio of work to prove that I have the skills to get the job done.

I feel that one of my biggest strengths is that I bring a unique perspective into the multimedia world. There is an incredible amount of talent out on the web today and it can be a daunting process trying to pick the right person for your job. I love the feeling of accomplishment that I get after a hard day’s work in front of the computer, but I also understand the bigger picture in life and I love to get out and see what’s going on in the world.
